Terrence Higgins Trust Brighton & Hove
For the outreach team at Terrence Higgins Trust in Brighton & Hove, Pride is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate & embrace the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. As a team we are very busy over Pride weekend handing out condom packs and HIV/Sexual health information as well as taking part in the Pride Parade. It is really important to us to spread the message that a person living with HIV on effective treatment cannot pass HIV on and that testing for HIV has never been easier.
Every year we have a walking group in the Pride parade and what we love more than anything is the reaction from the crowd! There is a real sense of people being proud of the work Terrence Higgins Trust delivers in the city.
