A new FREE exhibition opens in September 2026 at the former City of Exeter Post Office in Princesshay Shopping Centre, for teh duration of Out There Fringe Fest’26.

Project Uncut presents new collaborative work by award-winning photographer Chris Jepson, and features portraits and first-person accounts from members of the LGBTQIA+ community who share moments of queer joy from their own lives. With a broad sweep of experiences, voices and identities, each portrait connects you to a lived reality that often goes unheard.

A new FREE exhibition opens in July 2026 at Plus X Brighton, for the duration of Brighton & Hove Pride and beyond.

Project Uncut presents new collaborative work by award-winning photographer Chris Jepson, and features portraits and first-person accounts from members of the LGBTQIA+ community who share moments of queer joy from their own lives.

For this Pride showing at Plus X, the exhibition has been redesigned from the ground up. It now features 36 portraits, the fullest presentation of the series to date, hung across a space that couldn’t be further from a barbershop and that’s exactly the point. Taking these images out of their original setting and into Plus X’s innovation hub puts queer joy in front of a completely new audience, in a building built for people who do things differently..

Proud Studios CIC and Brighton Pride CIC are excited to present Proud Brighton – We Are Community, a portrait photography project celebrating 35 years of Pride in Brighton & Hove.

Commissioned by Brighton Pride CIC, the project is part of United in Pride, a joint initiative bringing together Brighton & Hove Pride, Trans Pride Brighton and Brighton Bear Weekend. The project features portraits of people drawn from all three communities, each accompanied by a single sentence about what Pride means to them, reflecting Pride as it is actually lived across the city.

Kicking off July and Brighton’s official Pride month (with Brighton Bear Weekend, Trans Pride Brighton and Brighton & Hove Pride, what else would you call it?), I am delighted to show a new installation of ‘Beyond The Binary – a celebration of trans joy’ at The Ledward Centre.

Comprising a completely new design, the series of panels in the windows that can be viewed from inside or out features 12 portraits of groups and individuals with accompanying text on display for the whole of July and beyond. Please do stop by and read the stories of these amazing people.
