I was born and raised in Brighton and have been going to Brighton Pride since I was young. As a bisexual transgender man being at Brighton Pride and Trans Pride, surrounded by other people like me or who support people like me, has formed some of my happiest memories. Pride to me is a protest while also celebrating how far we have come as a community.
It means a lot to me to be part of this project as Brighton Pride and Trans Pride has been an important part of my year every year for a long time and it is lovely to be involved in any way possible.
One of my most memorable moments was watching the Brighton Pride parade with my top off the first year after my top surgery, surrounded by my friends and family.
