About Carl

Carl loves anything nature, gardening, walking with his dog. He wishes people could just be kind to each other. Oh and tidier. Often seen clearing paths on dog walks cursing at the broken glass and littering, he loves 80s alternative music and Bob Vylan, and would happily be Siouxsie’s house boy if she’d have him. Carl has seen some great sights in his time but is now happiest cuddled up with his girlfriend and dog of an evening : )

JOY IS…

My terrier. My gf’s amazing breasts. Seeing Siouxsie Sioux live. Robins.

Trans Joy is at TransPride seeing how many of us there are (plus allies). All being able to be our true selves. Hopefully giving us the confidence to be ourselves every other day too.

In a world that often struggles to fully embrace diversity and inclusion, ‘Beyond the Binary – The Spectrum Of Trans Joy’ is a project dedicated to fostering social cohesion and visibility for the trans and intersex community. This fresh initiative from the award-winning queer photographer Chris Jepson seeks to empower and celebrate the trans+ community by showcasing authentic joy through a captivating series of individual and group portraits.
